A search for solutions to the multi-dimensional crisis in Haiti is growing more urgent every day. To achieve long-term stability and economic growth, Haiti must establish representative and accountable governance institutions as well as ensure access to justice. While many of Haiti’s governance challenges pre-date the assassination of President Elect Jovenel Moise on July 7th, 2021, that incident further highlighted the need for an increased focus on governance, leadership and government accountability.
