ABOUT US

Haiti’s path to long-term stability, economic growth, and sustainability hinges on establishing accountable and transparent institutions. The nation has faced significant challenges, including recurring political instability and natural disasters, which threaten its progress. To overcome these obstacles, the next generation of leaders must advance the functioning of government, private sector initiatives, disaster preparedness, voter education, justice services, and human rights protection.

The Louviac Institute for Good Governance was born from the leadership vision of Jude J. Jean-Gilles, Ph.D., who, alongside a diverse group of experienced leaders in public policy and administration, founded the organization to educate the public in addressing these critical needs.
